i too followed the steps you mentioned but it doesnt work in my case as well...i see my old high score when i open the game...any other changes are required???i am using samsung GS2 and its unrooted...

For the new Version the save file is not on SD card... But on the data/data folder... So its now available for only rooted phones... You guyzz are unlucky but will upload the save game for rooted users..
