EA Sports teasing some FIFA 14 news for tomorrow, expect things to get Messi

Another teaser coming at you by way of Twitter today. The official EA Sports FIFA Twitter account sent out a small message about a big FIFA 14 announcement to be revealed tomorrow. Accompanying the tweet was a teaser image of Lionel Messi on the pitch, a full stadium around him, with the text, "14 is coming..." stamped next to him. There's also a soccer ball pattern to the image, in case it wasn't clear.

FIFA 13 was released for virtually every platform currently available, from consoles like the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to mobile platforms like iOS and Android. 13 was the first in the series to implement Move and Kinect support, so it will be interesting to see if that carries over into FIFA 14.
While we're not sure if tomorrow's announcement will reveal anything beyond the FIFA 14's development, it wouldn't be surprising to hear the game is planned for current gen consoles to be released this fall. September, most likely. Then, when November rolls around and next-gen consoles are released, FIFA 14 will probably come to them as well. Stay tuned, as we're curious to see if any new features will be added this year.
